New York Guy Is Selling His Car On Craigslist For….A Pair Of Nike Galaxy Foamposites?!

Craigslist is a site where people can trade/sell their items or barter services to the people in their city. I check craigslist quite often being I am looking to buy a new car and also browsing for available jobs. So today I was scrolling down the list when I seen the ad of all ads. A man is selling his 1996 Chevy Cavalier for a pair of Nike Galaxy Foamposites, size 10.5. If you’re a “sneakerhead,” like myself, or follow sneakers, you will know that the Foamposites are a big deal in the sneaker world. The new pair dropping this week are pretty unique to the series. They have a light blue gum sole whick glows in the dark, along with a confetti glitter design around the body of the shoe to represent the galaxy, hence the name. They’re pretty cool and most likely are “deadstock,” which means LIMITED AND NOT COMING BACK OUT. So whoever gets a pair is lucky. This may cause a problem on the streets. Just in december, Jordan released a deadstock pair of Jordan XI known as “The Concords.” Many people lost their lives trying to buy the limited edition $220 sneakers. I’m lucky to say I survived my journey trying to get a pair. So I understand the guy not trying to risk his life getting the sneakers and just selling his car. But, personally, I don’t think its that serious. I’m not a Foamposite fan, to each’s own. The ad is pretty funny though, because the guy is very serious. He leaves a number, offers the title & a full tank of gas. Somebody is gonna luck up and take advantage of this deal. I plugged the link to the ad at the bottom of this, if you wanna see for yourself. NIKE is making money, but their playing games with society making everything “limited edition.”
